Lights On The Lake

Lights on the Lake is a beautiful event that brings families together in support of a worthy cause. We sang just down the hallway from Santa. The first night we sang, one of the residents played the bells during Jingle Bells and then sang several other numbers with us. It was such a joy for us to have her singing and smiling right there on our front row! The second night, we took a smaller group and had just as much fun. We are so proud to be a part of Heartspring's service and dedication to the community.

Place: Riverside Village The Bistro
This performance was for the community Christmas dinner. We had so much fun telling silly Christmas jokes and singing Santa Clause is Coming to Town to one of the more mischievous guests. After the performance, we went to the home of a woman with ALS and gave her a private concert of her very own. What a beautiful woman and what a beautiful night!

Illuminations
Illuminations is one of the highlights of our year. Every year, we go outside and sing Christmas songs to all who visit the pavilion. Children jingle bells with us and everyone joins in the songs that they know. The lights are so beautiful, but the dancing Christmas trees beat all!

South YMCA
Santa Claus/Family Day
The section leaders of the Wichita Chorus sang at the YMCA Family Day. There were dancers and polka band too. We sang for the children who were waiting in line to talk with Santa and for the people who were eating delicious pancakes flipped directly to their plates from the grill. We also sang from the balcony and tried our best to sound like angels. I think the reindeer antlers gave us away. |
