WCSA is celebrating
during 2012 the 60th
anniversary of our
chorus. Over the
years, many talented
ladies have been a
part of this award
winning chorus.
Together we strive
to become better
singers, better
persons, and to
treasure the
friendships
established as we
work together on
the risers. There is
NOTHING like Sweet
Adeline sister; they
are located
worldwide which
means that no
matter where one
travels. there is a
"sister" nearby.
WCSA brought home 2nd place medals for Division A (fewer than 30 members on the competition stage), and 6th place overall!

WCSA 2011-2012 President and
2012 Region 7 Competition
Coordinator is this year's
recepient of the Garee Rogers
award. She is shown with the traveling trophy
and her personal plaque. A prestigious award
indeed, it is in honor of one of the original
Sweet Adelines who happened to be a WCSA
member and the grandmother of our Assistant
Director Melodee Wright. Vicki is the 5th Wichita Chorus member to receive
the award since it was established in 1991.
WCSA has many reasons to be very proud - our scores were all B's (a real accomplishment!!), our placement in the winnings, AND the 6 new members competing with the chorus for the first time - some never having been on a stage of any kind prior to competition,
